Mariana is a dancer and fitness professional.
She is known for her cheerful personality and her engaging and dynamic performances. She brings her positive attitude to her teaching and personal training as well.
Mariana has been a lifelong athlete. She's been a rock and alpine climbing instructor, a Level I Ski Instructor, completed several triathlons, including a half-ironman and has climbed several of the Northwest's highest peaks, such as Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt. Olympus and countless other lesser known peaks.

In 2008 she was training for the Seattle To Portland (STP) Bicycle Ride when she was struck by a car on her bike. The injuries led to her no longer being able to pursue her love of mountaineering and long distance cycling. Struggling with hip mobility from the accident, a friend suggested she try bellydance.
Over 12 years later and counting, Mariana has passionately pursued her love for bellydance. Mariana has travelled across the US, Morocco, Spain, Egypt, Israel and Turkey to train and perform.

In her continuous pursuit of excellence Mariana has worked to obtain several fitness certifications in order to provide her students and personal training clients the most safe and effective training techniques.
Mariana is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Les Mills certified BodyTone and BodyFlow instructor, YogaFit instructor, PiYo certified and Zumba instructor. She has also trained in multiple dance styles such as Bollywood, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and Flamenco.
Mariana is also the other half of Seattle's Bellydance duo Mariana & Michelle. They are known for their creative, fun and beautiful performances.

Mariana is also a member member of two folkloric troupes Karavans and Khan El Khalili Dance Troupe a middle eastern folkloric dance troupe under the direction of Seattle's legendary bellydancer Mish Mish. And Karanoun, a Persian dance troupe under the direction of Elham Hikami.
